Front Range K9 Academy has over 35 years of experience and has trained over 9000 dogs and owners. Jennifer Hime, the owner and training director, studied under Dog Trainer Paula Mitchell beginning in 1990. She has counseled owners and dogs for Pet Country, Northwest Animal Hospital, and The Dog House.

Jennifer competes with her dogs in AKC Conformation, Obedience, Rally-O, and Lure Coursing. Her career highlights include being a Professional Member of I.A.C.P. (2017-Present), a Supporting Member of I.A.A.B.C. (2017-2020), a Member of A.P.D.T. (2014-2020), and a Member of A.C.A.B.C. (2007). She holds a BA in Education from the University of Southern Colorado (1994) and a Certification by A.C.T.S. (Accredited Canine Training Systems) from 1992. Trainers Jordan Dye and Meghan Poinsett completed their Dog Trainer Apprenticeship program with the academy, and Meghan Poinsett holds a BA and actively participates in various dog sports.
