Testimonials
As first-time dog parents who didn’t grow up with pets, bringing home our puppy was both exciting and overwhelming. We were hit hard with the puppy blues and quickly realized that reading books, Googling tips, and talking to people who did have dogs only got us so far. Through our neighbor’s referral, we found Bill–and from our very first phone call, he was a beacon of light in the chaos. Before we had even officially started training, Bill offered guidance that made an immediate difference. It was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about what was best for our puppy, Bao Bao.
What makes Bill so special is not just his deep knowledge, but the care and intentionality he brings to every session. He took the time to get to know Bao Bao’s unique personality and adapted his approach if something didn’t quite click. He helped us learn how to truly communicate with our dog, in a way that felt intuitive and built real understanding and trust.
Watching our puppy light up when Bill arrived, eager to learn and play, was the best kind of reassurance. Bill empowered us with the skills and confidence to become better dog parents, and for that, we’ll always be grateful. He didn’t just train our puppy–he taught us how to build a joyful, respectful relationship with him.

Bill worked with me and my new rescue dog, Leo, for 12 sessions at my home. With Bill’s patient, compassionate guidance I watched my fearful former-stray dog gain confidence and calmness. Bill taught me how to cue and reward Leo for positive behaviors, and we worked a lot on exercises that helped Leo build trust. Between training sessions Bill was available to answer questions and problem solve with me. His love of dogs is obvious, and he even researched the breeds that are mixed in Leo to help explain why Leo behaves the way that he does. He would come up with fun activities to end the trainings and my dogs loved that (find the hidden treats or agility exercises onto platforms). I would highly recommend Bill’s expertise to anyone looking for guidance on training their dog(s).

Bill is an amazing dog trainer. My puppy Lyra has been working with him for awhile now and is doing fabulous. Bill is passionate about what he does and has been there to help me train Lyra. He’s very available, responsive, patient, and has a great connection with Lyra. I honestly would be so lost if it wasn’t for Bill since Lyra is my first dog I’ve ever had. Bill makes training fun and it is very effective. We have worked on not digging, leave it, and other commands. Lyra is excelling with her training, thanks to Bill.
