Testimonials

Our 7-month-old pup, Chloe lacks confidence and is anxious out in the world. She balked at going through doors / gates / any change in pavement. We turned to Jodi and FurEver home because they specialize in exactly this type of issue. Jodi is an amazing trainer and human being! First, she helped us out as we were going away for a funeral and didn’t want to leave Chloe with just anyone — even though she already had a full schedule, she graciously allowed Chloe to board and train with her. Jodi had Chloe happily going in and out of a crate within 2 hours and she was essentially crate trained by the time we picked her up. For the six days Chloe was there, Jodi worked on building our pup’s confidence, especially on getting her more comfortable going through doors and gates. She also worked with her on “wait” and “come” and also on the beginnings of loose leash walking, always providing her the proper balance between correction and praise. Jodi also trimmed some fur around Chloe’s face, so she could see better (Chloe struggled so much with us that we were afraid we would hurt her) AND gave her a bath!! Jodi also provided us regular updates on Chloe’s progress, including videos of her romping in the yard with other pups. We highly recommend Jodi and FurEver Home and plan to take Chloe for another board and train session in June when we go out of town for a wedding. It’s such a comfort to know our dear Chloe is in good hands while we are gone and that she will be a happier, more confident dog when we return!

We feel incredibly grateful to have met Jodi and discovered FurEver Home Dog Training. We recently adopted one of Jodi’s foster dogs who is very timid, and the journey has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling. With time, patience, and love, the progress has been incredible. Jodi has a truly unique and effective approach to dog training. We are learning so much –not only about our newly adopted dog but also about how to better care for our older one.

Jodi’s training methods are straightforward and compassionate. These dogs are simply waiting for love, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to give them a home where they can thrive and live their best lives. Working with Jodi is such a rewarding and memorable experience! She, along with her amazing staff and volunteers, shows genuine care and dedication to every dog.

My puppy and I had the pleasure of working with Jodi and I was thoroughly impressed with her expertise and approach. She demonstrated a deep understanding of canine behavior and provided insightful answers to all my questions. Her guidance helped me better comprehend my pup’s needs and behaviors, particularly in the context of pack dynamics. I’m excited to continue working with Jodi and look forward to our future sessions. Her knowledge and teaching style are invaluable in strengthening the bond with my pup!
