Welcome to this unique, intelligent, sometimes stubborn, strong, funny, loving breed that can plumb the depths of your soul. Glens are not all cookie-cutter alike. They are characters. Glen of Imaal Terriers are the only dogs we breed, because we think Glens are the only breed worth having. Ara Lynn has been a Glen of Imaal Terrier breeder since 1989, and she freely shares her experience with her new owners to ensure they have success with their new family member.
Liberty Kennel is dedicated to breeding healthy Glens, preserving the unique characteristics of Glen of Imaal Terriers, and maintaining as much genetic diversity within the breed as possible. They focus on educating owners about the breed and commit to providing advice to their owners as needed for the life of the dog. They also offer a “Training Email Series” for Glen of Imaal Terrier care and training.
Accomplishments
Ara Lynn has been a Glen of Imaal Terrier breeder since 1989. She was named a Life Member of the Glen of Imaal Terrier Club of America on October 9, 2010, for her dedication, unflinching honesty, and personal sacrifice in service of the beloved breed.
Ara Lynn was also the owner-handler of the first AKC Champion Glen of Imaal Terrier at Montgomery County Kennel Club in October, 2004. The business is recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit.
