Pricing Summary

Classes are typically 3, 4, 5, or 6 weeks long. Costs range from $75 for one-time workshops to $390 for 6-week courses. Specific class costs include: Advanced Agility classes at $285-$315 for 6 weeks; Basic Manners classes at $195 for 3 weeks or $390 for 6 weeks; Beginner Agility classes at $390 for 6 weeks; Flyball classes at $75 for workshops or $240 for 4-week sessions; K9 Nose Work® classes at $265-$280 for 5 weeks (some include a scenting kit); Tricks classes at $195 for 3 weeks; and Urban Locating classes at $75 for workshops or $212 for 4-week sessions.

Policies

GGDS reserves the right to refuse enrollment or training to any dog and/or handler at its sole discretion. Specific policies include a Cancellation Policy, Guest Policy, Elimination Policy, Rules & Regulations, Student Agreement, Classroom Behavior Policy, Student Class Break Policy, and Bitch In Season Policy.

For K9 Nose Work classes, dogs showing stress or excessive barking may be asked to leave, and crating from cars is not permitted. Videotaping of classroom activities may occur for NACSW educational and instructor certification purposes, with a photo/videotape release required, but no recordings will be shared on social media. For Intro to Obstacles, students can repeat the class only once. Advanced Obstacles is designed to be taken twice, with a maximum of three 6-week sessions allowed to achieve class goals.

GGDS aims to inspire students to build positive connections and active relationships with their dogs through their talented team of professional trainers. They do not allow prong, choke, electronic collars, or any other aversive training tools that can inflict fear or pain on a dog.

Accomplishments

Liz Armstrong is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) with the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) and a certified professional dog and canine fitness trainer. She actively participates in NACSW and AKC trialing events. Michelle Largent is an instructor for Flyball and Urban Locating, with a competition schedule. Golden Gate Dog Sports offers high-quality training with a team of professional trainers and can help students earn AKC Trick Dog Titles.
