Gone to the Dogs Training offers Board & Train programs where dogs stay at Theresa’s home for intensive training sessions lasting 2 to 4 weeks, followed by 2 follow-up lessons with the owner to transfer the training. In-Home Lessons provide custom training plans focusing on behaviors that occur within the dog’s home environment, offering coaching to owners.
Private Lessons are held at the training center, providing one-on-one coaching to help dogs learn skills even in distracting environments. Group Classes include Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginner I, and Adult Beginner II. Puppy Kindergarten focuses on basic skills, proper play, desensitization, grooming, and handling, with free puppy play sessions.
Adult Beginner I works on advanced skills, self-control, loose leash walking, and increasing challenges with distractions. Adult Beginner II, available by invitation only for Beginner I graduates, focuses on advanced self-control, off-leash training, off-leash walking, and emergency behaviors. An orientation session is required before attending any group class.

“Theresa is an excellent trainer. We needed a major reset with our 10 month old lab, Tess, and we found the right person in Theresa. She kept us informed with Tess’ progress, methodically breaking down her challenges, successes and daily training sessions. Before we picked her up, Theresa provided us with short, detailed notes along with actual videos of Tess learning each of the important commands: sit, down, recall, leave it and stay. We have the tools now. I feel like we have our dog back. High recommend!”
