Puppy training sessions focus on basic obedience commands like ‘sit,’ ‘stay,’ and ‘come,’ and address common puppy issues such as biting, mouthing, and house training. Dog behavior management is a specialty, addressing issues ranging from fear and anxiety to over-confidence, excitement, aggression, and over-reaction. Training is conducted one-on-one, either at their facility or the client’s home, to provide tailored solutions.

Dog obedience training coaches owners on effective communication to achieve a focused and obedient dog. It covers basic commands and includes real-world loose leash work to ensure dogs behave well in public. Positive reinforcement and owner coaching are key components.

Boarding services are provided on a 3-acre property, offering a social and structured environment with constant monitoring. Requirements for boarding include dogs being at least 1 year old, spayed or neutered, well-socialized, having excellent recall and training, and being comfortable in a kennel or crate without barking. A meet and greet is required before boarding.

Pricing Summary

Puppy training sessions are $100 per session, lasting an hour to an hour and a half. Obedience training sessions are $120 per session, lasting an hour to an hour and a half. Behavior management sessions are $150 per session, lasting one and a half to two hours. Dog boarding is $50 per night per dog.

They limit boarding to 10-12 dogs at a time, providing ample space and personalized attention. Dogs receive significant exercise, averaging 6 miles of walking daily, promoting physical health and social skills through interaction with a small group of other dogs.

Amenities at the boarding facility include 3 acres of fenced property, an 8-foot pool, and 5×10 heated and air-conditioned kennels. The structured environment, with routines like requiring dogs to sit before leaving their kennel and practicing group commands, helps reinforce good behavior and promotes obedience. This unique experience aims to provide a “summer camp” like stay for dogs, offering peace of mind for owners.

Josh Sponsler has been working with dogs for over eighteen years, starting his career by volunteering at a local Humane Society. He furthered his education by enrolling in Animal Behavior College, where he gained a foundational understanding of normal canine behavior, learning principles, and the distinctions between obedience training, behavior management, and problem-solving. He has developed a diverse range of training methods based on his extensive experience, believing there is a solution for every dog’s situation.
