Clients can choose private one-on-one sessions (in-person or virtual), Play & Learn drop-in enrichment at Gie’s home, or Board & Learn overnight stays with daily updates. Ongoing sessions are available for puppies, adolescents, or dogs with persistent behaviors. Nail Care Training and Zoom check-ins support specific needs. All programs emphasize positive reinforcement, choice-based learning, and daily reinforcement strategies.

Pricing Summary

Free 20–30 minute initial consultation. Intake consultation: $100 (1 hour). Private training: $100 per hour. Play & Learn: $100 for 3 hours. Board & Learn: $225 per day (discounted to $100 for early drop-off or late pickup). Nail Care Training: $65 (30 min) or $100 (60 min). Zoom check-ins: $30 (30–40 min).

Gie’s background includes volunteering as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind and leading training groups, which shaped her passion for positive, relationship-centered dog training. She offers a free 20–30 minute initial consultation to help clients determine the best path forward.

Accomplishments

Gie Carr is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through CCPDT and a Certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM) through L.E.G.S. Applied Ethology. She was a club leader for Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raisers in Portland and has trained new raisers using positive reinforcement methods. She is fully licensed, bonded, insured through APDT, and Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certified.
