The Board and Train is a 15-day overnight program customized to each dog, including training, play sessions, and one-on-one time. Clients receive Monday through Saturday report cards with pictures and videos, a Go-Home Lesson, and training tools. A 3-week Board and Train is also available for behavioral cases and advanced training.

The Day Train is a 10-day program, excluding overnights and weekends, where dogs attend Monday-Friday during typical 9-5 hours. This program is customized to the dog’s needs and includes daily report cards and weekly lessons.

The Perfect Puppy Program includes a Puppy Board and Train (for puppies 12 weeks of age) and an Adult Board and Train (for pups over 5 months). This program focuses on socialization, house training, crate training, and obedience to set up the pup for a well-behaved life.

Private Lessons involve once-a-week, 1-hour meetings with a Pro-Trainer. This customizable program is geared towards obedience, with options for 4 or 8 lessons. New Group Lessons are also once-a-week, 1-hour meetings with a Pro-Trainer, focusing on obedience, aggression, or puppy training.

The Exclusive In-Home Board and Train is a 15-day overnight program designed for advanced obedience, therapy training, or service dog training. It includes report cards and a Go-Home lesson, though certification may not be included.

Pricing Summary

The Board and Train (15-day program) is $2800. The Day Train (10-day program) is $2400. The Perfect Puppy Program, which includes a Puppy Board and Train and an Adult Board and Train, costs $5000. A 1-hour Meet and Greet is available for $100, which can be applied towards a program if purchased within 24 hours. Private Lessons are offered at $650 for 4 lessons (Basic) or $1100 for 8 lessons (Basic & Advanced). New Group Lessons are priced at $300. Accomplishments

Jacob Pape began his dog industry journey in 2016, apprenticing for a local dog trainer and working at a prestigious Dog Daycare where he became Area Manager over three Metro-Detroit locations. He co-founded Great Lakes Dog Training Co. with Liz Pape.

Liz Pape brings a combined 14 years of dog experience with Jacob, focusing on business ownership and client relations. Anthony Pape, a trainer, grew up with dogs, has highly trained dogs of his own, and continues to excel through experience and seminars. Zoe Pope, who joined in 2022, has a background in dog daycares and management and successfully used the company’s training system with her own reactive dog.

How to Get Started!

Clients can begin by scheduling a 1-hour Meet and Greet to meet the team and visit the facility. The $100 fee for this appointment can be applied towards the program of their choosing if purchased within 24 hours of the meet and greet.
