Accomplishments

Tammy Yost, the primary trainer, has over 35 years of experience in horse training and began training stock dogs in 2017. She won the FFA Western Region Star in Agribusiness Award in 1994, being the first woman to do so. Her national-level showing experience spans various disciplines, including reining, cutting, dressage, and eventing.

In the stock dog world, Tammy’s accomplishments include the 2021 Strang Ranch Double Lift winner, 2021 Soldier Hollow Qualifier, 2021 Meeker Classic Semi-Finalist, 2021 National Cattledog Association Reserve National Intermediate Champion, 2021 Trailing of The Sheep Reserve Double Lift Champion, 2023 Hilltop Nursery Champion, and 2024 MSSA Reserve National Champion Nursery Sheepdog with Daisy. Lane Clement, a trainer in residence, consistently achieves impressive results in sheep and cattledog trials with dogs he has trained. Heart T Ranch students have also achieved impressive nationwide results in various equestrian competitions, demonstrating the effectiveness of their training approach.
