Programs include Heeli Puppy Training (for 10-20 week old puppies), Fundamentals I (basic obedience), Fundamentals II (leash walking), and Canine Good Citizen preparation. Each program consists of six 50-minute weekly in-home sessions. Two dogs receive 80-minute weekly sessions. Behavior issues require co-enrollment in CALM or CARE programs. Training goals must be defined during the initial consultation. Sessions are structured around the SAFE Training Method™ and Four C’s of Good Leadership™.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Initial assessment is $99 (waived if program is enrolled in). Puppy training: $594 for six 50-minute sessions. Fundamentals I and II: $749 each for six sessions. Canine Good Citizen: $594 including testing fee. All programs require full payment before the first session. Discounts and packages available.
Policies
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice; less than 24 hours incurs a $25 fee. If the instructor arrives more than 10 minutes late, one free session is provided. Full payment is due before the first session; programs are non-refundable unless Heeli cannot provide an instructor. Clients must use only positive training methods and avoid aversive tools. Dogs must be vaccinated and kept on leash during sessions. Safety hazards must be removed from training areas.

Trainers are certified and committed to positive methods, and clients must agree to avoid aversive tools like prong collars, shock collars, or choke chains. Heeli guarantees training goals will be met, offering up to three free additional sessions if not achieved.

How to Get Started!
Client begins by booking a free 50-minute Initial Training Assessment, during which an instructor evaluates the dog, discusses goals, and recommends a program. If the client enrolls in a program during this session, the $85 consultation fee is waived. If not, the $99 fee is due at the end of the session.
