She received the Excellence in Creative Inquiry award (2019) and the “Wings of Kindness” award (2020) for her research on shelter dogs and peanut allergy detection. She is an AKC Evaluator and has trained dogs in PSA, IGP, WDA, AKC scent work, and Dock Diving.
