Policies

Prior to on-site training, Holzinger Kennels requires proof of current vaccinations, including Rabies, Yearly Distemper, Parvo Booster (if 20 weeks or older and within 6 months), Yearly Bordetella, and Yearly Heartworm check (if medicating). Accomplishments

Terry Holzinger has been professionally raising and training gun dogs since 1982, starting with an internship under Tom Dokken. Dogs trained by Holzinger Kennels have achieved numerous placements and titles at local, state, and national hunt tests and upland hunting competitions. Terry is a Senior and Master judge for AKC, a former judging instructor for NSTRA (1994-1999), and a founding member of the Lake Country Retriever Club, one of the largest retriever clubs in the U.S. He has also published an article in Tournament Hunter Magazine. Holzinger Kennels is noted for its award-winning, world-class training program, and one of their stud dogs, Jack, was the 2020 US Open – Professional Top Gun Flusher Champion.

To begin training, ensure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date before scheduling.
