Their Basic Obedience Classes teach owners and pets to learn together, covering tasks such as housebreaking, polite walking on a leash, basic recall, sit & stay, ignoring distractions, and stopping jumping, excessive barking, and destructive chewing.
‘Trick’ Classes aim to forge a stronger emotional bond through guided learning of tricks like laydown, shake, rollover, spin in a circle, target/touch object, jump/dance, leave it, and retrieve object. ‘Problem Dog’ Classes are focused on addressing challenging behaviors, providing guided learning for bite inhibition, general redirection, reactive desensitization, ‘door dasher’ prevention, animal acclimation (cat or dog reactivity), body language communication, ‘leash puller’ prevention, and resource guarding and prevention (food or toy aggression). Attendees to ‘Problem Dog’ Classes are required to be muzzled pending initial evaluation during their first class.
