Testimonials
“This is by far the best dog training business in the state of Texas. Josh, the owner, is a dedicated, emphatic, and science based dog trainer. He is the teacher and you’re the student. As long as you can understand that relationship and do your work outside of the lessons, you and your dog will be very successful.
Training your dog is not something that takes a week or a month. Houston Dog Works understands this and will help you through the process and unique difficulties of training your individual dog to create REAL reliability.”
– Jordan Olinsky
“I highly recommend Houston DogWorks. My dog has “issues” and despite my efforts, they were not getting any better. A couple of other dog trainers recommended Josh, and touted him for his ability to deal with problems. I finally called Josh and am glad I did. My dog stayed at Houston DogWorks for a Board-and-Train and we are currently doing follow-up work with Josh. I know the journey is not over, but the difference so far is amazing.”
– Patti Lampton
“Josh’s program is successful because he works with you and your dog – I tried other dog training places but no behavior changed. We needed more time and attention without going broke. Group classes also help us practice in a safe environment. I have a chihuahua/dashound mix, and there are dogs of all breeds and sizes. I appreciate all the time Josh & Kennedy dedicate to this work – it has helped me enjoy walking my dog, and I can take him out in public without stress. I can also manage him at the vet now with no anxiety meds for him.”
– Bonnie Ewing
