About the Trainer
Hufflepup Dog Training is led by Owner/Trainer Jennifer Pepper, who brings over 10 years of experience in animal training and human education. Her background includes working with dolphins and training rats, in addition to her recent focus on “difficult” and “unadaptable” dogs.
The business operates on a philosophy of building a relationship and bond with dogs based on trust and understanding. Jennifer utilizes positive reinforcement methods grounded in science, which she believes allows dogs to learn without fear of punishment, learn faster, and be more willing to participate in training.
Hufflepup offers a variety of private, in-home training programs for puppies and dogs of all ages, covering basic obedience, advanced obedience, and behavioral issues. They also provide unique services like one-hour field trips for exercise or additional training, and specialized tutoring for specific behavioral challenges. Additionally, they offer extracurricular activities such as tricks and agility classes.
