Hunter Canine offers several core training programs. The “Dog Training Camps” (Training Retreats) are their most popular and successful board and train program, lasting 3 weeks. These intensive programs include a behavioral evaluation, daily one-on-one training sessions focusing on loose leash walking, basic commands, impulse control, place bed skills, proper interaction, crate training, and addressing specific behavioral issues. They also include daily socialization, weekly field trips, agility/swimming sessions, 3 hours of private training with the owner during the stay, three follow-up group obedience classes, and lifetime phone/email support. In-home and 4-week off-leash e-collar options are also available.
Group Obedience Classes are offered in 6-week sessions for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Canine Good Citizen Prep, and Fetch. These classes aim to teach owners how to understand and motivate their dogs, sharpen obedience in distracting situations, and perfect advanced commands.
Holiday Retreats are exclusive short-term boarding and training refreshers for dogs who have completed a prior training program with Hunter Canine. They include daily obedience and behavior training, socialization, and facility activities. Additional services include Rattlesnake Avoidance training and Agility Classes. Private Lessons are available for existing clients.

Testimonials
“Best investment you can make in your pet. We rescued a large American Staff. Chad and his staff are top notch. Thank you for the tools and training. The facility is immaculate, Chad shows his passion with every dog there. Five stars!!! Nice job with Marcus!!”
– Mike K.
“We just wanted to thank you and your team for taking such great care of Greta and Leila. You all are seriously the best!!! We always feel so comfortable leaving the girls with you and appreciate the high standards you set for the dogs. (And for us as well). You run a great program and we feel lucky to have found Hunter Canine! Thank You!”
– Julie R.
“If I could give Hunter Canine 10 stars I would. We sent our Cane Corso, Samson, to them for their 3 week boarding/training retreat and it was easily a worthwhile investment. They didn’t take our dog and magically turn him into a different dog that acts like a model citizen, what they did do was bridge the gap of communication between us and our dog.”
– Danica J.
