IBS Canine Training

IBS Canine Training offers various programs including Group Lessons, Private Lessons, and Semi Private Lessons (1-3 dogs). Each group class is six weeks long, with the exception of the Puppy Refresher which is four weeks. Classes are held on the same day and time for the duration of the course.

Specific group classes include Puppy Beginner I (6 weeks) focusing on foundational manners like sit, down, wait, come, polite greetings, and leash walking, along with weekly problem-solving. Puppy Refresher (4 weeks) is for reviewing and strengthening basic commands like sit, down, come from a distance, loose leash walking with distractions, wait, leave-it, and stay.

Beginner II (6 weeks) builds on foundational skills, expanding commands like come, stay at a distance, go-to/stay on bed, and strengthening commands with distractions. The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) prep class (6 weeks) prepares dogs for the AKC CGC test, covering behaviors like accepting strangers, polite petting, grooming, loose leash walking, crowd navigation, stays, recall, and reactions to other dogs and distractions. A prerequisite for CGC is completion of Puppy/Beginner 1.

Private classes offer one-on-one attention, allowing owners to create their own schedule and curriculum, suitable for nervous dogs or those needing a safe environment. These can be held at facility locations or in public areas for working on social skills with distractions. Field Trips are available on Wednesdays to dog-friendly public areas like parks or shopping centers, focusing on real-world social skills in a supervised environment. These are offered to dogs currently enrolled or having completed a class.

Pricing Summary

Policies

Dogs must be current on all vaccinations for the safety of trainers, handlers, and other dogs in classes.
