Testimonials
We have a six-year-old small dog who was friendly but often anxious, especially around new people and other dogs. Before working with Kat, our dog would bark at visitors and refuse to walk calmly on a leash in busy areas. We felt stuck, even after trying several training programs–including group classes at the Dog Training Center of Chester County and personalized sessions at home.
Kat transformed our experience. She is exceptionally patient, caring, and never judgmental. In our first session, Kat observed our dog’s behavior and immediately identified the root causes of his anxiety. She taught us simple, effective techniques–like rewarding calm greetings and gradually introducing new situations (with behavioral conditioning)–that made a noticeable difference within weeks.
What sets Kat apart is her commitment to both the dog and the owner. She makes training fun and engaging, using techniques that keep our dog motivated. Kat is always available for questions between sessions, offering practical advice that works. Her deep understanding of canine behavior helped us see the world through our dog’s eyes, which was a game-changer.
Our dog is happier, calmer, and more confident than ever… and so are we!

Kat is absolutely the BEST! I can’t even begin to tell you what a relief and godsend it was to find her. After the second vet visit with my Aussie puppy, Finn, I knew something wasn’t quite right. He hated being handled and was terrified of people. I tried group puppy classes at a fear free training facility, but he was still so scared. If you’ve never had a dog with severe behavioral issues (fear of people and reactivity) it can be overwhelming and isolating. After an incredibly stressful year, I finally connected with Kat through our behavioral vet. She is kind, gentle, compassionate and goes at a pace Finn is comfortable with. She introduced us to cooperative care and now we’re at a point where we can trim his booty curtains with the scary trimmer! She takes the time to build trust, and he is so excited to see her now — so heartwarming. Thanks to Kat’s extensive knowledge and expertise, we are finally making progress. So whether you have pup with behavioral issues or a “normal” dog who just needs a little extra help, don’t despair. Kat can give you the help you need. I highly, highly recommend her.

My 5 year old Welsh Terrier Winnie has always struggled with stress and anxiety, which was exacerbated after we moved. Her behavior was becoming a huge source of stress for the whole family. The veterinary behaviorist referred us to Kat, who has changed everything for us! Through our sessions, we have learned how to help Winnie manage her big feelings and reward her for positive behaviors. I love that we do our sessions in our home over Face Time, because with my ear buds in, Winnie has no idea that the instructions are coming from someone else, and she’s learning the desired behaviors in her own space from her mama. Kat is so knowledgeable and supportive, and has made a tremendous impact on our family!
