“I own two dogs. A Springer Spaniel, Callie now 2 years old and a Smooth Collie, Gromit now 1 year old. Stephinie came into our lives to help train Callie when she was 6 months old. She added Gromit to the mix when he joined the family about 6 months ago. The best part about Stephinie’s training style is that she works with positive reinforcement for both you and your pet. She definitely has a gifted connection with animals as well as the kindness and patience and experience to help you, and your pet get where you want to go. She puts an emphasis on helping you, as the dog owner, set your goals with your dog. She helps you set up a plan to acheive those goals. My dogs learned sit, down, stay within a few training sessions. She continues to build on these simple commands to address any negative behaviors that arise. Example, My Collie is a barker and wants to jump on anyone that comes in. I used sit and praises to control both of those behaviors. Stephinie will always take the time to give you the tools to be successful with your dog. She goes above and beyond any other trainer I have used in the past. I would highly recommend her.”

“When we adopted Finnegan at 3 months she was sweet but so anxious about every noise and wouldn’t walk due to her fear of streets and sounds. We were referred to Stephinie and in the very first session we witnessed her ability to know exactly what Finn needed, and also exactly what we needed, which was reassurance and education and techniques/tips. We’ve had many many sessions since then (Finn is almost a year old) because with a puppy there are always new challenges and Stephinie has solutions for ALL of them. She is clearly a dog-whisperer and has also helped us with dog/cat integration. Her warmth, humor, competence, and ability to really understand what Finn (and her humans) need is extraordinary. Plus she comes to your home so can see the environment you are most often in (we have also met at a park and at Home Depot for special training).
