About the Trainer
Jack’s DOGs is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity founded in 2003 in central Indiana. They provide therapy through interaction with their trained and nationally registered Pet Partners® dogs. Most of their dogs were rescued from shelters and deemed un-trainable, demonstrating “dogability™,” which is the innate ability of dogs to enrich daily life, provide unconditional love, encourage meeting life’s challenges, and promote health.
They work with people of all ages who have physical, emotional, and educational challenges, visiting schools, nursing homes, camps, and other facilities. They also help facility staff and individuals develop specific plans and goals, and work with individual clients to build pet-human relationships. They cooperate with a network of veterinarians, trainers, social workers, schools, and animal rescue groups.
