Jamie’s Dog Training

Jamie came to our home and helped us learn about our new puppy, Charlie. Having her come to our home provided a wonderful experience that helped us with unique situations like where to place his crate, where in the yard to take him potty, how to handle him jumping on guests when they come in our door, etc.
Jamie was able to engage our daughters into the training that gave our girls confidence to take control of their part of the care of Charlie. It was truly an amazing experience, and we have been given the knowledge to continue his training ourselves!
If you’re considering someone to train your dog, look no further. Jamie is simply the best.

Jamie has been, and continues to be, an absolute GOD SEND for me and my 3 dogs! It’s completely changed our whole dynamic for the better in the house and on walks. I have a pretty intense pack of dogs (a pitbull, a terrier, and a mini-Aussie) with lots of different reactivity and anxiety issues. So far, we’ve worked together across 3 sessions, and I plan to do more sessions with Jamie because it’s been so helpful.
I actually love the ‘homework’ and training with the dogs, because it helps all of us bond, be calm and in control, and the dogs respond so well to her positive reinforcement style. Jamie goes above and beyond! She puts in so much thought and work into helping each dog individually and as a group. So long as you *do what she recommends and follow the homework,* it really, really works!
Do NOT use people who use harsh methods or negativity. Those outdated methods are not effective, helpful, or necessary. Run, do not walk, to book with Jamie. It’s been worth every penny, and for her level of expertise, she’s a bargain (in a bigger city like Chicago or LA, she could easily charge double). Do it for YOU and for your fur babies!

Working with Jamie has been amazing! Our bloodhound, Charlie, has aggression – not just around food, but in other situations too. She was also very scared of strangers. Jamie came to our home and immediately put both us and Charlie at ease. By the end of the session, Charlie was loving all over her!
