Their “Level Classes” include: Level 0: Puppy Life Skills (8-16 weeks) covering potty training, canine language, husbandry, and socialization; Level 1: Basic Manners for foundational communication, impulse control, leash manners, and recall; Level 2: Public Manners for advanced skills in public settings; Level 3: Fine Tuning for refining communication; and Level 4: CGC Preparation for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test.

Single session services like Toy Testing, FreeWork, Management Mastery, and Enrichment Extravaganza address specific needs. Specialty Packages, including Calm Down!, Get Back!, and Let’s Go!, are tailored for dogs with “BIG EMOTIONS” such as reactivity, fear, and aggression, utilizing improved management, targeted enrichment, and behavior modification strategies. These specialty programs include orientation, working sessions, unlimited support, data tracking, lifetime group support, and reference materials. Other packages include “Go Home!” for teaching property boundaries without e-collars and “Play and Train” for supplemental support from a professional trainer.

Their training methodology is rooted in positive reinforcement and force-free techniques, aiming to build trust and create lasting behavior change without fear or intimidation. They prioritize small class sizes and individualized attention, with options for in-studio, in-home, and virtual sessions.

About the Trainer

Jenn’s Dogs is a dog training business dedicated to transforming pups into well-behaved companions and strengthening the human-canine bond. They offer ethical training methods based on positive reinforcement, with a philosophy of “No Fear, No Force, No Pain.” Their approach focuses on helping guardians and dogs learn and grow together, breaking down social constructs to discover what works best for each relationship.

The business prides itself on clear communication and a solution-minded approach, with a team dedicated to helping clients achieve a long and happy future with their dogs. They offer a variety of services including structured “Level Classes” for task training, single session services for specific needs like enrichment and toy testing, and specialized “Behavior Modification Programs” for dogs with “BIG EMOTIONS” such as reactivity, fear, and aggression.

Jenn’s Dogs emphasizes smaller class sizes, determined by the temperament, size, and age of participants, to ensure a supportive learning environment with individualized attention. They also provide virtual options for many services, making training accessible for those outside their service area or whose dogs struggle with in-person interactions. Additionally, they offer supplemental “Play and Train” sessions where their trainers work directly with dogs to help guardians reach their goals faster.

How to Get Started!

To begin training with Jenn’s Dogs, clients can book an evaluation or consultation. For group classes (Level 1 and above), a free 15-minute evaluation is required. This evaluation helps introduce the dog to the training studio and determines the most suitable class.

For behavior modification and specialty services, an initial consultation is required. This consultation costs $100, lasts up to 90 minutes, is human-only, and can be held in-person or virtually to assess the dog’s behavior and discuss a training plan. All booking is done through their online booking platform, Paw Partner, where clients create a profile for themselves and their dog to make reservations.
