Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Jivin’ Dog Training and Agility offers various training options. Training and Behavior Modification Lessons begin with an Initial Consult, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, to assess issues and create a customized plan, followed by written homework. Private Follow Up Lessons involve coaching on skills with written homework provided.
Agility Training is held at the trainer’s home field, covering puppy foundations, obstacle training, and advanced skills for fun or competition. Day Training allows clients to drop off their dog for skill training, with a 30-minute follow-up session to review progress.
For intensive training, Board and Train services are available for up to two weeks, including a one-hour follow-up lesson per week and a written plan. Enrichment Walks are offered in specific southern Raleigh areas, providing customized mental and physical stimulation through games, nose work, or decompression walks. Virtual lessons are also a possibility, and in-person lessons are currently scheduled outside due to COVID restrictions.
About the Trainer
