Matt is a great dog trainer. I have really enjoyed training my Dobermann puppy at Joe Nick K9. I have nothing but great things to say. When I went for the first appointment I was told that their low prices should not lead me to believe the quality is not high.. they were not joking! It’s amazing to me how much I have learned as a dog owner who has had dogs since 2011. I wish I had brought my other dogs there. Matt is a very understanding trainer and my puppy gets complemented by every guest who visits my home due to Matt’s help. I never knew dog training would be so much fun and I can’t believe how much I learn from each session. Matt quickly informed me of what to expect from my puppy and he is very understanding of what your goals are and he makes sure to thoroughly explain everything to the dog owner and what to expect.. basically they train you to train your dog. It is worth mentioning that my puppy is just learning basics and they are great with that. It is not just for people looking for high-level dog training like for law enforcement level training.. which they seem to be very accomplished in. I drive 45 minutes to go there and I have zero complaints. Very reasonable pricing and excellent dog training. Their facility is also top notch and Matt is very knowledgeable when it comes to dog breeds and all of the dog training items on the market. You will be very happy if you bring your dog to them!

Matt is really very good. He is patient. Humorous. Flexible with the training sessions. Really seems to care. I am a much better dog owner and my dog did great and continues to learn the basics he needs. He was a rescue with some related behaviors but has responded to the techniques and is a very happy little doggy. The cost is well worth it.
