Juggernaut Canine Training

“Gus came home from Juggernaut Canine Training on Sunday, and words cannot express how immensely grateful we are to Mekyla for the incredible work she has done with him. Within an hour of him being home, I texted Mekyla to say that if he didn’t have such specific markings, I would have assumed she had replaced him with a different dog. He is now so polite, calm, and well-mannered. His recall is spectacular. He interacts fabulously with every dog, cat, and horse (!) I’ve introduced him to. Every concern we had has been erased or is easily managed and corrected. When excited, he is able to self-regulate and tune into our commands rather than let the moment take over. My favorite observation is his ability to settle. He simply lays down nearby and lets the world keep moving around him. You would never guess that he isn’t even a year old. Most GSPs don’t calm down until age two, if not age four. He transformed from being a crazy puppy that drained every ounce of my energy into a gentleman that is an absolute pleasure to be around. What a gift you have given us, Mekyla! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve already paid the deposit for our blue heeler to spend a month at Juggernaut starting in December! We are obsessed. This was legitimately life changing.”

“My 1 year old Australian Shepherd spent a month of board and train with Mekyla and her family. Luna is smart, energetic, and can be stubborn. I used an online trainer previously but was at a point that I needed more and as a first time dog owner, I didn’t know the next steps. It was very difficult for me to have her gone a month…. But now I have a well disciplined and well behaved dog. The marker training helped tremendously. She is calmer, listens attentively and responds to corrections easily. People notice! I continue to practice yes and no commands daily. They work! And in my opinion, my Luna is such a good dog. Everyday I’m amazed how lucky I am to have stumbled across Juggernaut Canine Training. “We recently rescued a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees from a bad situation where he was neglected and mistreated. He has a very sweet natural disposition, but it was immediately obvious he was nervous and distrustful of strangers… He immediately growled at, and stalked, every visitor that came to our home… He stayed almost 5 weeks with her and, thanks to her work and training, came back a different, much more relaxed animal. He seems settled in our home for the first time. She taught him how to ignore strangers who come into the house and then relax when he sees they are not a threat to him or us. We are able to have people visit our house again without worry. She taught us how to continue to reinforce his training when he came back to us and gave us tools to do that. He now responds to our commands inside and outside, and walks easily on leash without straining at every animal or stranger we come across. Thanks to Mekyla’s work with him he has become the great family pet we thought he could be when we first rescued him. We will continue to use Mekyla for future training for both of our dogs.”
