K-9 Connection offers a variety of training classes, each running for six weeks, one hour per week. Classes include Beginning Obedience for dogs 16 weeks or older, focusing on basic manners. The Intermediate class covers advanced skills like moving to heel position and rally exercises. The Canine Good Citizen class prepares dogs for the 10-step AKC CGC test and also helps prepare for therapy dog tests.
Agility classes introduce dogs to equipment and course running. Drop-in agility sessions are available. Other specialized classes include Pack Walk for public manners and navigating different environments, Mix Things Up for varied activities like tricks and obstacles, Obstacle class for strength and balance, Fun & Fitness for low-impact workouts, Nose Work for scent detection, and Trick/Dance for learning dance moves and tricks.
All class sizes are limited, and all dogs are required to have proof of current vaccinations.

Pricing Summary
Doggie day camp is $30.00 a day. Beginning obedience, Intermediate class, Canine Good Citizen, and Agility classes each cost $90.00 for a six-week session. The Canine Good Citizen class fee includes the test. A drop-in agility class is available for $20.00 per evening session if space permits. They also offer just the Canine Good Citizen test for dogs already prepared.
Policies
All dogs entering the facility must have up-to-date vaccinations on record, including Rabies, DHLPP (or distemper combination), and Bordetella, along with an annual fecal sample. A 10-day waiting period is required for dogs receiving Bordetella for the first time or if more than 6 months past due. All dogs must be free of parasites and on year-round heartworm and flea preventative prescribed by their veterinarian. All K-9 Connection forms must be filled out before an interview or evaluation.

In addition to training, K-9 Connection offers doggie day camp where dogs can run and play with friends and receive work from trainers. Daycare operates from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and dogs are not crated. They also host the “All American Dog Team,” which performs at fairs and festivals to raise money for war dogs overseas. K-9 Connection is also involved in community projects like “Bark for Life / Walk for War Dogs” and the “Yellow Ribbon Project.”
Accomplishments
Marlene is a graduate of Animal Behavior College and is an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and UKC S.P.O.T. evaluator. The business states they have certified trainers. Their dogs, Lacey (11 years old) and Dixie (12 years old), have both passed their Canine Good Citizen tests and Therapy Dog tests.
