The In-Home Dog and Puppy Training uses a positive approach to display proper play techniques, avoid aggression issues, and get puppies accustomed to leashes and having food/toys taken away, which is particularly beneficial for families with young children. This program also includes outings to pet supply stores, veterinary offices, and pet groomers to prepare dogs for various public situations, and offers extensive off-leash training.

The Board and Train Program is an intensive option for busy owners. It includes a 2-week plan designed for the dog’s personality, covering greetings without jumping, socialization with other dogs, obedience, on-leash walking, and heel commands. A 4-week plan is also available, which builds on the 2-week program by adding off-leash walking in diverse environments under careful supervision, ensuring dogs can follow instructions anywhere.

For those with limited time for in-person services, K9 Advanced provides Online Video Classes. This convenient course series is a master class in canine behavior techniques, crafted to be user-friendly, highly effective, and fun. The videos share the trainer’s decades of experience and trade secrets, demonstrating progress and troubleshooting real-life challenges with an energetic two-year-old retriever named Sarge.

K9 Advanced Dog Training provides comprehensive dog training services on Long Island, New York. The trainer began their career in 1998 at a grooming spa, quickly developing a passion for understanding canine body language and behaviors. In 2002, after having a son with special needs, the trainer pursued an apprenticeship to learn how to train a dog to assist him, gaining hands-on experience in obedience, agility, and protection.

After the apprenticeship, the trainer was hired by a dog training company and worked there for 8 years, successfully training hundreds of dogs, including those for prominent New York professional athletes. With a deep understanding of busy families, the trainer designs flexible programs for individuals balancing family and career, especially since having a second son in 2005. K9 Advanced offers puppy training, in-home dog and puppy training, board and train programs, and online video classes.

Their techniques are proven to ensure an enjoyable experience for the entire family.
