K9 Guide offers several training options tailored to individual and dog needs. The premier Board & Train program is the most requested, providing an intensive experience where dogs live with a lead trainer on a 4-acre property in Bath and train in real-world settings. This program includes a comprehensive, all-inclusive follow-up program for owners, unlimited follow-up, and off-leash freedom.

In-Home Training sessions are conducted in the client’s home, focusing on issues that occur in that environment. This program includes field trips, Buddy Lessons, and unlimited Alumni classes. Private Sessions are similar to in-home training but are held at the K9 Guide facility, allowing owners to learn to train their dog themselves from start to finish.

Puppy Programs are available for early training, covering potty training, crate training, handling for grooming, manners (no biting, jumping, demand barking), threshold manners, sit, down, place, come, stay, and loose leash walking. All programs are personalized, include unlimited follow-up with trainers, and aim to achieve off-leash reliability.

Testimonials

“While it wasn’t our goal, our goldendoodle became so well trained that she actually performs in local theatre shows now! (Toto in WIZARD OF OZ most recently) Our dogs (1 yo Goldendoodle and 1 yo Shepherd/Husky) were good dogs, but extremely overwhelming in our small house with 2 kids. We got sick of the chaos, the yelling, etc. We wanted to enjoy our beloved dogs instead of yelling at them all the time! So we saved up and got them both the Board and Train package… It was a huge financial commitment and let me tell you: it changed our lives and was worth every single penny. Once they were appropriately trained, my dogs were so much happier and confident (the husky had been a reactive, scared little dude before)… Now they are so well mannered and happy. I trust no one with my dog more than the folks at K9 Guide because they have improved my life and my dogs’ lives 1000 fold. ABSOLUTELY choose these folks over any chain training services. K9 Guide is full of good people who are very knowledgeable about what they do, and they actually care about your doggo. I am just a customer; I don’t know them outside of having worked with them and I was in no way benefitted from this review. I just really believe in their work.”
– Tess Burgler – Summer & Link

“I 110% recommend K9 Guide and have told many people about the success story of my pup Ace. Before K9 Guide, Ace was a very loving and caring dog, but also seemed to be the physical embodiment of chaos. Literally bouncing off the walls. Knocking our daughter over out of pure excitement of seeing her. His reactivity to EVERYTHING was horrid. Walks were dreaded. Manners and self-control were not in his vocabulary. When my wife and I learned of K9 Guide, we decided to give it a shot. The results were mind blowing. After returning home from their board program and having a few lessons at home, Ace is THE dog many strive to have. His reactivity is essentially non existent now. Walks are now a joy and pleasure. His recall is amazing, coming without hesitation. He is easily one of, if not, the best behaved dog in our neighborhood. Inside the home, he’s so much more well behaved. He interacts with our daughter so gently now. No more chaos, no more bouncing off the walls, no more feeling as if he ran the house. Collin, Yana, and Jimmie have done an amazing job and are truly a blessing from God. They have not only helped Ace, but helped me as well. I have become such a better owner for Ace through the things they’ve taught me on training him. K9 Guide is wonderful and have turned my chaos pup into the best behaved boy around. And best yet, he is still his loving full of joy self.”
– Ethan Lambert – Ace

“K9 Guide completely changed our lives! Over the summer my lab mix Goose began demonstrating signs of reactivity towards people and dogs… After consulting with various dog trainers in the area, K9G stood far out from the rest. Their superior knowledge about canines and their behavior was evident… was able to modify one of Goose’s bad habits within seconds. While Goose was at his B&T, I received many updates of his astounding progress. I could not believe my eyes! When Goose came home, I saw a new side of him that fostered good manners and confidence. I quickly realized that before pursing a trainer, I had settled for many bad behaviors such as jumping on guests, ignoring commands, barking, and pulling on walks. All of this was fixed by K9G and there is finally a newfound sense of calmness and peace in our home. K9G does not leave you stranded and their lifetime guarantee is something you will not find anywhere else. In between sessions, they are always responsive to any questions I have. This team truly loves your dog as their own and it is evident in the excitement Goose shows when he sees them. If you are looking for a dog trainer – do not hesitate and just use K9 Guide. I am convinced there is not anyone better!”
