K9-Kent Training Solutions LLC offers comprehensive Board & Train programs where dogs reside at their facility for intensive training. These programs range from 2 to 6 weeks and cover puppy training, general obedience, aggression management, and refresher courses. Upon completion, owners receive detailed instructions, an informational packet, and two complimentary private training lessons. Clients also gain access to a training log and video channel for updates on their dog’s progress.

Individual Training sessions are private lessons conducted either at the client’s home or in public settings, tailored to address specific dog needs. Packages consist of 4 or 8 sessions focusing on behavioral issues, basic and advanced obedience, leash manners, and various forms of aggression.

The business also specializes in Service Dog Training, guiding dogs to achieve the necessary behavior and obedience for specific tasks. Additionally, they provide AKC programs, including S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), AKC Community Canine (CGCA), AKC Urban Good Citizen (UCGC), and AKC Trick Dog, and prepare dogs for FCI/AKC dog shows.

For Individual Training, a 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Failure to provide this notice or a “no-show” for a scheduled appointment will result in the session being counted as used.

For the safety of all pets, full updated vaccination records are mandatory for any boarding or training services. Required vaccinations include Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella. Owners are also responsible for ensuring their dogs are up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, as well as dewormer.

Testimonials

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My puppy was a first-timer at doggie day care & they were so loving & patient with him. They truly care! Wally had the best day of his life and they updated me throughout the day which I appreciated! My puppy was EXHAUSTED from playing and getting so much love all day. We can’t WAIT to go back and see his new little friends. Do yourself and your dog a favor and GO THERE. You won’t find this level of care anywhere else.”
– Kailey Crosslin

“First of all, I just want to say thank you thank you, thank you for taking such good care of Charlie, our golden-doodle, he has come home today in such a calm, happy manner! you guys, this woman treats the animals she takes care of like her children. prior to boarding our golden-doodle, she wanted to come and meet Charlie to build report and relationship. We spoke about our goals and intentions, and she had plans to meet every one of them. She was so professional and caring. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of her dog during this holiday season!! She treated Charlie as one of her own!! Her house and backyard is SO clean which is unbelievable considering she takes care of many dogs. She was so kind and warm. K9 Kent will definitely be my go to for anything I need!! Thank you for being so wonderful!!”
– Danielle Bohler

“Where do I even start! Johanna is amazing! She is patient and understanding. She takes it slow and explains everything from the do’s and don’ts to your dogs behaviors. I am an official new dog mom to a German Shepard. We started with the 12 training classes and after the first 2 sessions my dog was showing improvement! From there we started doing her doggy day care 4x a week! My dog comes back tired from playing all day! She never has them locked in a kennel and she makes sure that all dogs behave and play nicely. While in day care my German Shepard has learned to stay, limit his barking at other dogs, and learned to share the affection people give to him and the other dogs.. I could keep going on about this amazing trainer and her work! All I can say is.. your dog will improve and both of you will come out with more knowledge and as an added bonus become really good friends with Johanna!”
