K9 Logic offers a variety of training programs designed to meet different needs and schedules.
The **Board & Train program** is an intensive, immersive training experience where dogs stay at the K9 Logic facility for 3 to 8 weeks. This program focuses on obedience and behavioral issue elimination, with professional trainers working with the dog throughout their stay. A typical day includes walks, three daily training sessions, crate rest, social sessions (for friendly dogs), treadmill or agility work, and field trips to public locations for real-world proofing. This program is suitable for puppies 6 months and older.
The **Private Training program** involves hands-on training for owners and their dogs through individual and group classes. Private sessions provide one-on-one instruction to address specific goals and obstacles, while group outings allow for proofing skills in distracting, real-world environments like the K9 Logic facility or public places. This program aims to build handler confidence, improve obedience, diminish distractions, and enhance leash behavior.
**Virtual Training sessions** are offered live, one-on-one via Zoom, catering to clients outside Los Angeles or those who prefer training from home. These 30 or 60-minute sessions provide guidance and advice, allowing trainers to assess situations and offer necessary information. Benefits include flexible scheduling, recorded sessions for review, and feedback on submitted training videos. This option is suitable for all dog ages and various behavioral issues, including those with nervous, anxious, or reactive dogs.
The **Online Dog Training Course**, titled “K9 Logic’s Fundamentals,” covers foundational concepts such as building food drive, increasing motivation, understanding leash pressure, using markers for feedback, and teaching basic cues like sit, down, and come.
The **K9 Logic Academy** is a professional development program for individuals aspiring to become dog trainers, walkers, doggie daycare operators, or involved in rescue organizations and other canine professions. It provides comprehensive education in dog training theory, evaluation, handling techniques, tool application, troubleshooting behaviors, puppy development, safe socialization, and behavioral modification. The academy also offers guidance on successfully starting and growing a canine business. A seminar program is also listed as “coming soon.”

A 1-week refresher course for alumni clients costs $1200. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to hold a spot for Board & Train.
Virtual Training sessions are available as single sessions or packages. A 30-minute single session costs $150, and a 60-minute session costs $225. Packages include 3 sessions (30 min) for $425, 5 sessions (30 min) for $700, 3 sessions (60 min) for $650, and 5 sessions (60 min) for $1075.

Additional private sessions can be added for $195 each. An evaluation is necessary for all programs to determine the appropriate length of stay or number of classes and final pricing, which is dependent on the dog’s behavioral issues and training goals. K9 Logic does not offer discounts for multiple dogs.
Policies
For Board & Train programs, K9 Logic requires a non-refundable 20% deposit to secure a spot. Visitations are not permitted during a dog’s stay, as they have found it to be counterproductive to the training process, causing dogs to revert to old habits and become confused. Weekly updates and pictures are provided to owners for peace of mind.
For all programs, dogs must be vaccinated against Rabies, Bordetella, Parvovirus, and Distemper upon enrollment, with a fecal float also required. Rabies vaccination is not required for puppies too young to receive it. Intact dogs are welcome, but female dogs in heat should not be brought to avoid distractions.
In case of a medical emergency, K9 Logic has relationships with three local veterinarians, two of whom are five minutes away and one fifteen minutes away, and will take immediate action to ensure the dog’s safety. K9 Logic does not offer discounts for training multiple dogs from the same household due to the increased time and effort involved in individual and combined training.
Testimonials
“Finally a facility that did more than state the obvious and gets stuff accomplished. This was our 4th trainer, and the one that made the difference. After doing the 5 week boot camp, he’s much more manageable and since he’s a very big dog, it was important we are able to manage him. And since they have boarding for Alumni, now we can leave town when we need to without worrying about his training going out the window. They were able to teach us how to apply his training without any confusion and now we have a much better relationship with our dog. Thanks K9 Logic!”
– David Levy
“Chris and the staff members are amazing. K9 Logic is really leading industry with their tailored training and proven results time and time again. I would highly recommend anyone looking to improve their dogs behaviors to come here. Thanks Chris for being patient and knowledgeable about your craft.”
– Gerald G.
“We had an incredible experience training with Dom! In just five sessions our 7 month golden retriever puppy went from a bucking bronco who didn’t listen to a thing we said, to a well trained girl with nearly perfect recall! We’re so happy that we invested in professional training and have seen a night and day transformation with our dog. Thank you Dom and the K9 Logic team!”

K9 Logic operates from a 10,200 sq. ft. facility on ¼ acre of land, located just north of Glendale.
