Testimonials
We did board and train for two very reactive dogs and K9 Reflections did an awesome job. The two boys are now able to interact with no aggression.
—
Sara did a wonderful job with both Pookie and Milo. They are better behaved dogs. Now it’s up to us to maintain the training she did with them.

Needed help bringing a dog home to meet my other dogs and Sara made it very easy. My 3 other dogs have been together almost 4 years and was apprehensive about bringing in a 4th but Sara made it happen and I couldn’t be happier. Check out K9 Reflection if you’re in need help with your pup, don’t give up on them K9 is the way to go. Thank you Sara and Lauren.
About the Trainer
K9 Reflection is a dog training business founded by Lauren Klein, focused on holistic, behavior-based training that emphasizes the emotional well-being of both dogs and their owners. They offer private lessons, drop-off training programs (including board and train), puppy boot camps, and community Pack Walks every Sunday. Their approach centers on mental clarity, communication, and gratitude, recognizing that dogs’ unwanted behaviors often stem from fear, anxiety, or past trauma. Training is designed to build trust and confidence, not force compliance, with a strong emphasis on teaching humans how to understand and communicate with their dogs. They specialize in reactivity, fear, separation anxiety, and puppy socialization, and provide lifetime support and access to Pack Walks for all program participants. They also offer in-home behavior assessments and work closely with local shelters and rescue organizations. Their team includes certified trainers with backgrounds in veterinary care, fostering, and behavior science, all of whom are rescue advocates. They sell branded gear and host community events to build a supportive dog-owning network.
K9 Reflection prioritizes quality of care by limiting intake to ensure individualized attention. Their programs integrate health, diet, exercise, and mental stimulation as foundational to behavior change. They believe training is a two-way journey — helping dogs heal while empowering owners with knowledge and emotional resilience. Their community-focused Pack Walks are open to all dogs, including reactive ones, and offer affordable, ongoing practice with expert guidance.
They work with all dog types and ages, from puppies to seniors, and are deeply committed to supporting shelter and rescue dogs and their new families.
Accomplishments
Founder Lauren Klein has over 5 years of professional training experience, prior work in veterinary care and daycare, and has fostered dogs with behavioral needs for years. She works with Paws of War to train service dogs for veterans and is involved with Outkast Working Dog Club. Trainer Sara Seawell holds a Zoology degree from NC State, has extensive rescue and behavior experience, and has successfully placed numerous high-needs dogs. Both trainers are rescue advocates with multiple personal rescue dogs.
