K9 Solutions LLC offers a range of training programs designed to foster a strong relationship between dogs and their owners. Group classes are 6-week programs, held weekly for one hour, focusing on building strong foundations in obedience and behavioral training, from basic commands to more advanced skills. These classes include a course book and require dogs to be comfortable with people and other dogs, as they are not for behavior modification of adult dogs with socialization issues.

Private training provides one-on-one instruction tailored to the dog’s personality and owner’s goals, ideal for larger families, more challenging dogs, or specific training objectives. This format is also used for working through behavioral issues that require expert assistance and a customized modification plan. The Board & Train program involves the dog staying with the trainer for 1 to 5 weeks, receiving daily lessons in various environments, along with ample exercise, playtime, and relaxation.

Pack Walks are guided workshops led by Sarah Chambless, designed for socialization and exercise, while also providing instructional tips for improving leadership skills and leash walking. Participants are guided on proper leash handling, including the use of training collars or flat collars, and maintaining a heel. Remote training utilizes low-level stimulation remote collars, focusing on precise timing for corrections to ensure the dog maintains a positive attitude and interest in training. This method is only recommended with professional assistance.

Additionally, the Rescue Dog Matchmaking Program partners with rescue groups to carefully evaluate dogs through group classes, private sessions, or playgroups, providing detailed insights into each dog’s behavior and temperament to help families find the perfect match. This program aims to create lasting bonds and reduce shelter returns, offering adopters discounted training and ongoing support.
