Dog Training Methodology

Hydrotherapy sessions are structured as individualized aquatic therapy experiences lasting 30 or 60 minutes, with swim time of 20 or 45 minutes respectively. Clients must schedule appointments in advance. Sessions are tailored to the dog’s condition and veterinarian recommendations, focusing on therapeutic exercise in a warm water pool.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

First swim session is free. 60-minute sessions cost $80; 30-minute sessions cost $45 (not available for first visits). Discounts of $5 per session for purchasing 4+ sessions, and additional $5 off for military, first responders, and dog workers. Each session includes pre/post swim wash, ear cleaning, and blow-drying.

Clients must arrive 5–10 minutes early, toilet their dog before the session, use a 6-ft leash, brush excess dirt/hair, and avoid feeding 2 hours before or 1 hour after swimming. Testimonials

WE LOVE the K9 Swim Center!! I’ve taken three of our dogs now and each one has been treated so sweetly, encouraged to do their best, and each of them really loved coming in for swims! We have had a senior pitizen getting his best exercise, a really active girl after an ACL injury, & now the 100+lb tripod we adopted to get in some reps! Trevor/Kiara are amazing and do such an amazing job! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Luna had her first therapy appointment today! We love it! I can’t find my words right now because I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the kindness and gentleness we experienced this morning. I will update after I gather my thoughts.

Thank you so much for the amazing experience. We will see you next week.

My rescue, Mazie, has a strange gait, swinging her hips and rear legs forward rather than stepping forward normally. Accupressure therapy revealed pain where her pelvis meets her spine. She had her first swim session yesterday. Remarkably, today her gait is normal. She is stepping forward normally with her rear legs. We are definitely going to continue swim therapy for her best chance at a long life with comfortable mobility!

About the Trainer

K9 Swim Center is a facility specializing in canine hydrotherapy for dogs with mobility issues, recovery needs, or those seeking low-impact exercise. Their services include warm water hydrotherapy sessions with trained specialists who support dogs during therapeutic swimming, offering benefits like improved circulation, muscle strengthening, and enhanced range of motion. While not a veterinary clinic, they work in cooperation with veterinarians and provide post-surgery and arthritis support. The facility offers a free therapy assessment for new clients, and all sessions include pre- and post-swim washing, ear cleaning, and blow-drying. The environment is described as clean, safe, and welcoming, with staff trained to treat each dog as if it were their own.

Although the business is listed under “dog trainer” in the niche, the content provided does not describe any formal dog training services such as obedience, behavior modification, or skill instruction. Instead, it focuses exclusively on aquatic therapy and physical rehabilitation. Therefore, it does not function as a dog training provider in the traditional sense.

How to Get Started!

New customers must call to schedule an appointment. A free therapy assessment is offered for first-time visitors to experience the benefits of hydrotherapy. Staff request advance notice to prepare for the dog’s individual needs.
