K9 Training Solutions offers a variety of programs tailored to different needs. Day Training provides socialization, enrichment, exercise, and basic obedience principles, with dogs participating in social activities, one-on-one training sessions, and canine exercise. Full and half-day options are available with specific drop-off and pick-up times.
Obedience Training includes group classes (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) offered monthly, each session lasting one hour per week on Sundays. They also have a Puppy Foundation & Fun Class, an 8-week session focusing on socialization, desensitization, playtime, and basic obedience. Private Obedience Sessions are one-on-one, addressing behavioral modifications at their facility, and require an initial evaluation.
Group Classes cover specialized topics such as Companion Class for trust building and urban socialization, with an opportunity for a CGC Urban Canine Title (invite only). The Trick Class is a “Drop-In” session on Sundays, focusing on building relationships and communication through tricks. The Trail Manners Course (invite only) helps dogs behave on hikes and trails, teaching neutrality with other dogs. A Canine Good Citizen Class is also available on Sundays, designed to teach good manners and responsible ownership, with a CGC test opportunity.
Protection Training includes Bite Work, which helps high-energy dogs release drive and can lead to Schutzhund or Personal Protection dogs. They also host Open Protection Nights every Tuesday and Saturday evening, allowing owners to work their dogs with experienced agitators. Additionally, K9TS offers a Board & Train service, where dogs live with a trainer for a week or month to address specific behavioral requirements.

How to Get Started!
To begin, clients are required to bring their dog in for an evaluation at the training facility. This hour-long evaluation serves as a neutral ground to observe the dog’s true personality and allows owners to meet with a trainer one-on-one to discuss training plans tailored to their dog’s individual needs. The evaluation costs $50 and is particularly helpful for behavior modification cases, as it helps determine the level of a dog’s behavior issues such as aggression, anxiety, or nervousness. Evaluations can be scheduled online.
