Testimonials

“Jennifer is a very professional and knowledgeable dog trainer. She is willing to help you in any way she can to achieve whatever your goals may be. Jade and I always look forward to her classes and know they will be fun and informative. We wouldn’t be the team we are without her patience and expertise.”
– John R. Hix

“Classes are consistently informative, motivational, challenging and an overall fun experience. Always a new rabbit being pulled out of Jennifer’s hat to solicit the best learning, behavior, drive and performance of me and my GSD “Ada”. Since working with Jennifer, I am becoming a better dog owner/handler and Ada is a much happier dog! Looking forward to our next nose work class.”
– Viki Crawford

“I stared with Jennifer at K9 Venues, LLC not knowing anything about nose work. I had recently gotten a new puppy and was looking for ways to bond with him and keep him busy. My first class was so interesting, and my puppy seemed to love it. It was amazing to watch his progress each week! Jennifer adapts each class to ensure each dog and handler are successful. Working as a team with my dog has been so rewarding. I have never competed in anything before and with Jennifer’s encouragement I signed up for my first competition. I was so nervous, but Jennifer kept saying just “trust your dog”. When the weekend was over not only did we title in two elements, but we earned three 1st places, 2nd place, 3rd place and 4th place! I was immediately looking to see when we could compete again. Not only did it build confidence in my dog it also built my confidence. I would strongly recommend taking classes with Jennifer.”

About the Trainer

K9 Venues, LLC specializes in canine sports training, offering a variety of disciplines including Agility, Nose/Scent Work, Competitive Obedience, Conformation, Musical Freestyle, Rally-O, and Rally FrEe. They are dedicated to learning about individual goals and building training programs focused on specific needs, providing personalized service.

The facility operates on a positive reinforcement (R+) philosophy and does not permit the use of aversive training tools or techniques such as e-collars, pinch/prong collars, choke chains, or leash corrections. They are available to discuss alternative options and develop a plan for those interested in replacing these tools.

Classes are designed to be informative, motivational, challenging, and fun, aiming to enhance the learning, behavior, drive, and performance of both the handler and the dog. They cater to dogs of any age, breed, size, or physical ability, including reactive dogs, as some classes like Nose Work allow each dog to work separately.
