Testimonials
We are forever grateful for the time we have spent at the K911-KY training facility with our dog, Maker. From the moment we first stepped through the doors, we knew we were in the right place. The staff’s expertise and passion for animal training shine through every lesson, making each visit something we look forward to. They even endure Maker’s very loud vocal dialogue.
Training sessions have not only fortified our bond with Maker but have also equipped us with invaluable skills that enhance our everyday life together. While we acknowledge that we still have a long way to go, we’ve enjoyed every single visit and learned so much along the way.
The facility itself is welcoming, well-maintained, and designed with both the dogs and their owners in mind. I need training too! The variety of classes offered means that there’s always room for growth and improvement, regardless of your dog’s starting point.
We can’t recommend this training facility enough. If you’re looking to deepen your connection with your furry friend or simply want to help them develop good manners, this is the place to be. Thank you for everything you do!

The staff is amazing. My dog was terrified of other dogs, and wouldn’t listen to me no matter what I said or did. She is like a completely different dog now.

My dog has been training here for service work since September 2023. She is currently doing public access and we take her to K911 every Saturday.
K911 is affordable, quality, self-directed training. The dogs do exercises together, then split into individual training for the back half of the hour. Steve directs owners in their dog’s training, working with you on the goals you have for your dog.
While my dog is still in training for service, being able to take her in public and training her in tasks specific to my disability has changed my life. I have almost completely overcome my agoraphobia and am much more confident when I am able to have my dog at my side. My dog is quiet and polite in public, and attentive to my needs.
I would recommend K911 to anyone who would like to train their own service dog.

About the Trainer
K911-KY is a dog training facility that offers group and individual training sessions focused on building strong owner-dog bonds and improving behavior. The facility is welcoming and designed with both dogs and owners in mind, offering a variety of classes suitable for dogs at any starting point. Training is self-directed with guidance from Steve, who works with owners on their specific goals, including service dog tasks. Clients report significant improvements in their dogs’ behavior, including reduced reactivity, better public access, and increased attentiveness. The program supports service dog training, with some clients using it to overcome agoraphobia and gain confidence in public spaces. The facility allows dogs to train together before splitting into individual work sessions.
While some clients praise the affordability, quality, and transformative results—especially for fearful or reactive dogs—others have raised concerns about inconsistent instruction, lack of service dog training depth, and tolerance of aggressive behaviors labeled as “alerting.” Despite mixed feedback, many describe the staff as passionate, knowledgeable, and supportive.
