K9Aholics Dog Training

I highly recommend K9Acholics. We have had both of our dogs go through their Day Training Program and had amazing results. Our dog Luna had been through 3 trainers prior to K9Acholics for her boundary and dog reactivity and none of the previous trainers were able to help her/us with her reactivity. Within 5 weeks, the trainers at K9Acholics have made it possible where we can take Luna out for walks and out in public without her reacting and starting to feel more confident in herself around other dogs. Our other dog Rueger also did the Day Training Program, where he was taught obedience, walking, recall, and was helped with his “Monkey see, Monkey do” reactivity that he learned from his “sister, Luna. We were first brought to K9Aholics by having a thorough, honest, and educational phone consultation with the owner, Cam. We were then able to view the facility ahead of time and meet some of the trainers. Kat, Acacia, and Mikayla were always so nice at pick up and drop off and were amazing with our dogs. Haleigh was the main trainer in regards to our dogs reactivities, and she is so thorough, personable, honest, and knows what she is doing. She, along with everyone else there, always took the time to talk to us and explain everything and make sure that we knew what to do at home. Our dogs are so much more confident in themselves, and so much better behaved and we as their owners are more educated and confident in our abilities with working with our dogs. I cannot recommend K9Aholics and their trainers enough. It is well worth the money. They kept our dogs safe, were always open and honest with everything, and did such an amazing job. Crunch just finished the board & train program at K9aholics. All of the trainers took great care of her during her stay. You could tell how happy my dog was in the check-in videos, her tail was always wagging and she would receive lots of rewards/treats. The team was always very responsive with communication and happy to answer questions. My training session at pick-up was very thorough and helpful. I’m excited to see how this translates at the house, I’ve noticed some positive behavioral changes already. She is not barking at every dog/person out the window and we were able to have a much more organized walk together.

Took our a little over 4 months old mini schnauzer to their puppy university. Basically 2 weeks at their location. It was tough but our puppy was in great hands! Huge difference in her behavior from before to after. No more trying to strangle herself on her leash like a crazed lunatic! Walks with manners now. Jordon and Haleigh were terrific! Puppy, actually listens to commands like sit, stay, down and maintains the position. Absolutely sets her up for success with a solid foundation. Had a follow up call to address some questions and had a follow up in home visit about 6 weeks after she came home, which is part of the program.
