Dog Training Methodology
K9s 4 Mobility is dedicated to training, placing, and supporting assistance dog partnerships. They provide Guide, Service Dogs, and Facility Dogs. They do not train dogs for PTSD, hearing loss, alerting to medical emergencies, anxiety, behavior, or emotional support. They also have a puppy raiser program where volunteers raise and train puppies to become Assistance Dogs.

Michelle Woerner, a co-founder, became an Assistance Dogs International Certified Instructor in 2002 after completing a three-year training program with an Assistance Dogs International Accredited Organization. She has been involved in the breeding, training, and placement of Service Dogs since 1998. She has also served as a board member for the North American region of Assistance Dogs International since 2008 and works as an Accreditation Assessor for Assistance Dogs International, traveling worldwide. She is the CEO and Assistance Dogs International Certified Training Instructor for K9s 4 Mobility.
How to Get Started!
Applications are available for Guide, Service Dogs, and Facility Dogs. Interested individuals can fill out an application form. They also offer opportunities to become a puppy raiser or puppy sponsor.
