Katie’s Dog Training offers customized programs. The Basic Training Program focuses on basic control in public and at home, addressing commands and behavior problems, with family involvement. The Advanced Training Program aims for reliable on and off-leash behavior under distractions, including advanced commands and all behavior issues, with family coaching. Individual Lessons are available for specific troubleshooting, lasting about an hour. Custom Programs can be tailored for unique behavioral or command training needs.

Katie’s Dog Training is a business run by Katie, who has been training dogs for over 19 years. She is a Graduate of the Master Dog Training Program at the National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio, and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Katie also co-owned and worked with a well-respected local training facility for many years.
The business offers private, in-home training programs that are customized to each dog’s personality and training goals. Katie works with both dogs and puppies, coaching families on how to consistently guide their pets towards good behavior. She addresses a wide range of obedience and behavior problems, aiming to enhance the lives of families through well-behaved dogs.

All programs begin with a private evaluation, or an initial phone call or email to determine specific training goals and obedience problems. After this, clients can schedule an optional Meet and Greet or proceed directly to training.
