Testimonials

“The best dog training school in Staten Island. I am highly satisfied with the training my dog and I received there. Liz is a highly qualified, knowledgeable dog trainer with a lifetime experience in dog behavior. My puppy and I will be going for a second round of training in September. He is responding very well to me. Groups are small with one to one interaction, training and excellent advise. I highly recommend Keyrak Dog Club if you are serious about training your dog and help him become a good citizen!”

About the Trainer

Keyrak Dog Club has been providing dog training services to families in Staten Island since 1982, offering training for puppies through adult dogs at all skill levels. They specialize in group sessions that include Basic Manners, Advanced Manners, Canine Good Citizen preparation, Therapy Dog and Service Dog public access training, and special programs for kids and their dogs. The club also offers FitDog Walks in local parks for practicing good manners in real-world settings, with no fee and weather-dependent scheduling. They provide limited on-site day care and boarding with overnight supervision, welcoming intact and “difficult” dogs pending evaluation. Virtual training options are available for most programs, and they offer a train-at-home program through a partner site. Their programs are structured to progress from foundational manners to advanced certifications, with evaluations included for AKC CGC, Community Canine, Urban Canine, and Pet Partners Therapy Dog titles. They emphasize positive, family-centered training and accommodate dogs of all ages, breeds, and behavioral needs.

Keyrak Dog Club also features “Teacher’s Pets” — trained helper dogs used in sessions to model behavior and assist in training. They maintain full licensing for both training and boarding services.
