Lake Erie K9

Lake Erie K9 offers a comprehensive range of training programs. These include Basic Obedience, Spec Ops (advanced obedience courses), Behavior Modification, and the AKC Canine Good Citizen Course.

They also conduct group K9 Bootcamp obedience classes for puppies and dogs, and Tac Maneuvers for beginner agility. Additionally, they provide Therapy Dog training and testing. Training can be conducted privately at the client’s home or at their facility, or through group classes at their Lawrence Park training center.

Mike A., the owner, is a former Air Force Security Forces/Dept. of Defense K9 handler and trainer, and a Military Police training instructor. Tony D. is a retired civilian Police Department K9 Officer and trainer with over 20 years of experience. Gary S. is also an instructor, specializing in agility.

Lake Erie K9 aims to provide professional service and make the training process stress-free for dog owners. They emphasize helping dogs become true trained companions.

Accomplishments

Mike A., the owner, is a former Air Force Security Forces/Dept. of Defense K9 handler and trainer. He was also a Military Police training instructor, training Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and civilian police officers to become K9 handlers. Mike A. also worked as a civilian Police K9 Officer and was a tactical firearms instructor and defensive tactics instructor for a Federal Police Agency.

Tony D., another instructor, is a retired civilian Police Dept. K9 Officer and trainer with over 20 years of experience. Tony and Mike have worked together for several years. Gary S., a K9 Bootcamp instructor, has an agility dog named Yoshi who is becoming an agility star.
