Rebecca is a pleasure to work with!! Her grace, kindness, and love exemplify the passion she’s shows while training with families. She loves what she does and it really shows. Rebecca has been amazing! She is fantastic with dogs and a great person all around. Over just a few sessions so far, she has already helped me make great progress in training my 5 month old rescue pup (a pitbull, german shepard, and chow mix). The Lazy Acres/Tenderfoot approach to training teaches your dog to actually listen to you, rather than to just do things for treats – and it works! 10/10 definitely recommend.

We truly cannot recommend Rebecca and the TenderFoot Approach enough. It was exactly what we were looking for and honestly, what we were missing with our dogs. Aside from the specific drills Rebecca showed us, her emphasis on creating physical and psychological boundaries has been life changing. Our relationship with our dogs has improved significantly and our home is a lot more peaceful thanks to her. We have a 2-year old husky and a 10-year old chihuahua and their relationship has also improved significantly. I was concerned that the pressure/release method wouldn’t be appropriate for a 6lb dog but I was wrong. Rebecca is sensitive and aware enough to know how and when to modify drills to meet the needs of the dog that is in front of her. She even came to our house for one of the sessions and it was super valuable to see what training would look like at home. If you are committed to improving your relationship with your dog, Rebecca is the person you want guiding you through the process.

About the Trainer

Lazy Acres Dog Training, led by Rebecca Fedele, CTF Dog Trainer, offers a natural, relationship-based approach to dog training grounded in the Tenderfoot Natural Dog Training Philosophy. The method emphasizes love, trust, and respect over treats, devices, or fear, using natural pressure and release techniques to build clear communication and calm leadership between dogs and their owners. Rebecca customizes each session to accommodate the emotional and mental states of both the dog and the owner, focusing on everyday interactions like walking, playing, and petting to reinforce positive behavior. She works with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including small breeds like Chihuahuas and large breeds like Huskies, and adapts techniques to suit individual needs. In addition to in-person and virtual training sessions, she offers an online video series through Tenderfoot Training for those who prefer self-paced learning.

Rebecca provides first sessions that are 2 hours long, followed by one-hour follow-up sessions, and offers a discounted package of the first session plus two follow-ups. She also conducts in-home sessions to address training in the dog’s natural environment. Her clients report significant improvements in behavior, home harmony, and the human-dog bond, especially through boundary-setting and consistent communication.

While the business primarily focuses on dog training, Rebecca also offers related services including dog walking and pet sitting, as listed in the business profile.
