Liberty K9 offers a variety of dog training programs, including Board and Train, Puppy Raising, and Private Lessons.
nnBoard and Train programs are intensive, ranging from 3 to 8 weeks, and are designed for dogs without severe behavior problems, except for the dedicated Behavior Modification program. These programs cover commands like Place, Come, Heel, Wait, Down, Leave It, Sit, along with addressing jumping, crate training, and socialization. They include training equipment, field trips, go-home lessons, videos, and follow-up sessions.
nnThe Puppy Raising program is for puppies 8-11 weeks old, offering 4-week ($3000) and 5-week ($3500) options. These programs focus on crate training, potty training, basic manners, socialization, and confidence building, with puppies living full-time with a trainer.
nnPrivate Lessons are available in Platinum ($900 for 5 lessons) and Silver ($600 for 3 lessons) programs, requiring a consultation first. These lessons cover specific commands and address common behavioral issues like jumping and leash pulling.

Pricing Summary

Training consultations are available for $50. Board and Train programs range from $2800 for the 3-week Silver program to $3800 for the 5-week Platinum program, with a Behavior Modification program priced at $6000 for 6-8 weeks. Puppy Raising programs are offered at $3000 for 4 weeks and $3500 for 5 weeks.
nnPrivate Lessons are $600 for the Silver program (3 lessons) and $900 for the Platinum program (5 lessons). Boarding costs $40 per night for the first dog and $28 per night for a second dog from the same household sharing a run, with a $15 half-day charge for morning drop-offs or evening pick-ups.
nnDrop-in daycare is $30 per day, and a package of 10 days costs $275, valid for 6 months. Various add-ons are available, including Country Stroll ($12), One-on-One Play Time ($12), Treadmill Session ($25), and grooming services like Go Home Bath ($25-80) and Nail Trim ($15). Payments are accepted via cash, check, Venmo, and Credit/Debit Cards (with a 3% fee).

Policies

Liberty K9 has a strict Cancellation & No Show Policy requiring a minimum of 48 hours notice for any reservation adjustments or cancellations. Failure to provide this notice will result in a fee of 75% of the reservation, not exceeding $150, which must be paid before making new reservations. For daycare punch cards, a no-show without 48 hours notice will result in the card being punched for that day.
nnFor dogs sharing a run during boarding, they must be able to eat together. If staff determine it is unsafe for dogs to share a run, they will be separated, and the owner will incur charges for an additional run.
nnThe business also enforces a Kindness Clause, expecting staff to be treated with kindness and respect. Rude or disrespectful behavior towards staff will lead to dismissal from their client base, with complaints to be directed to the owner or managers.

Accomplishments

Jenny, the owner of Liberty K9, is an Air Force Veteran and former Police Officer. She graduated at the top of her class with a Canine Training and Behavior Specialist Certification from Starmark Animal Behavior Center.
nnFollowing her certification, Jenny completed a 12-week internship at Top Dog in Joshua, TX. She later returned to Starmark Academy as an instructor, where she successfully helped approximately 65 students become dog trainers and managed the Rescue Dog program, assisting around 100 rescue dogs in receiving free obedience training and finding their forever homes.

How to Get Started!

To begin, clients can schedule a training consultation for $50, where they will spend about an hour with a trainer coordinator to discuss their goals and receive a training recommendation without obligation. For private lessons, a consultation is required before scheduling.
nnWalk-ins are welcome only during designated pick-up and drop-off hours; otherwise, an appointment must be scheduled. Clients are also invited to contact Liberty K9 to arrange a meet and greet or a facility tour.
