Testimonials

“I cannot say enough good things about Listen Here Dog Training! Our mini golden-doodle was a handful (to say the least) but after just a few sessions with Summer we saw a dramatic improvement. She was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and made us feel confident in our ability to continue the training at home. Our pup is now a well-behaved, happy member of our family and I’d highly recommend these services to any dog family out there!”
– Emily Beck

“We have been working with Summer for over a year. We took the reactive dog course, did several reactive obedience classes and just finished off 5 personal training sessions. Summer is encouraging, helps us set realistic goals/expectations and gives us the tools we need to work with our pup. She has given us confidence that we can help our anxious pup feel comfortable in our world. Thank you Summer!”
– Lara B

“This place is great! We have a fiesty terrier mix who has been through boat loads of training. During COVID he became leash reactive. We took him to the reactive dog training program and it has made our capacity to help him so much better (Summer was really great at telling us, as owners, how to help our dogs help themselves!!!). It also helped to have other dogs in the class to practice what we were learning in real time. Additionally, our dog LOVED the class, loved it…he was so wiggly and happy every time we entered the parking lot.”
– Melissa B

About the Trainer

Listen Here Dog Training, led by owner and instructor Summer Frazier, educates and helps dog owners develop a strong relationship with their pets. They believe dogs are intelligent and enjoy learning, and that many problems arise from boredom and under-stimulation. They encourage lifelong training beyond initial classes.

The business offers a variety of group classes including Puppy Preschool, Puppy Day Camp, Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Manners 1 & 2, Tune Up Classes, Reactive Dog Group Class, and Nosework. They also provide private training sessions for dogs that struggle in group settings, are reactive to people or dogs, or have more serious aggression issues.

Listen Here Dog Training aims to provide owners with the tools needed to help their dogs navigate life comfortably, focusing on foundational skills, public behaviors, and addressing specific challenges like reactivity. They emphasize creating a relaxed learning environment where both dogs and owners can learn together.
