**Puppy Preschool**: This program consists of 2 sessions for puppies aged 9-16 weeks. Obedience commands taught include Loose Lead Walking, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Come/Off Leash Freedom, and Place. It also addresses improved behaviors such as calm greeting, waiting at doors, and preventing jumping, chasing, or running away. The program includes unlimited client coaching and 2 refresher sessions.

**Path to Success**: This is an intensive 5-day training program where a certified professional trainer works directly with your dog (Monday-Friday). It focuses on obedience commands like Loose Lead Walking, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Come/Off Leash Freedom, and Place, as well as improved behaviors such as calm greeting, waiting at doors, and preventing jumping, chasing, or running away. The program includes 2 doggie field trips, unlimited client coaching, and 3 refresher sessions. Owners are involved by reinforcing skills daily through homework assignments.

**Finish Line**: This is an advanced 10-day training program that builds upon the Path to Success. It provides advanced training by a certified professional trainer, focusing on developing obedience skills for public settings (e.g., Therapy Dog, Emotional Support). Commands include on and off-leash walking, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Come/Off Leash Freedom, and Place. The program emphasizes improving reliability around varied distractions and includes 5 doggie field trips. It offers unlimited client coaching and 4 refresher sessions.

Loyal Start Dog Training, LLC is a dog training business founded by Michele Green, a Certified Professional Trainer. Michele’s passion for animals began on a hobby farm where she grew up with various animals, including dogs. Her personal experience training her Akita mix, Buckeye, and later seeking a service dog for her son, inspired her to become a certified trainer to help other families.

Michele’s unique approach integrates lessons learned from raising her seven children, emphasizing adaptable positive and negative reinforcements, clear boundaries, consequences, and love. This allows her to help owners build a wonderful and rewarding relationship with their dogs. Accomplishments

Michele Green is a Certified Professional Trainer who earned her Certified Professional Training Certificate from National K-9 School for Dog Trainers, which teaches reliable training methods using a balanced approach. She developed her love for animals growing up on a small hobby farm with various animals, including German Shepherds, Beagles, Poodles, chickens, pigs, a goat, and horses. Michele has personal experience training her own Akita mix, Buckeye, who was known for his excellent manners. She also applies her experience raising seven children, adapting her approach with encouragement and correction, to her dog training methods.

How to Get Started!

To begin, clients can fill out a form for a free dog evaluation. After the form is submitted, the trainer will work with the client to customize a training program tailored to their dog’s specific needs, aiming to achieve long-term success in having a well-behaved dog.
