Policies
Refund requests are granted if received one week prior to the start of class and may be subject to a 5% processing fee. For registration, payment and health certificates must be emailed to ltdtc.registrar@gmail.com by the closing date of registration; otherwise, the spot will be relinquished to anyone on the waiting list. Health certificates are required for the first class and must be emailed a week before class begins; vet records are not accepted as a substitute.

About the Trainer
Lyons Township Dog Training Club (LTDTC) is a non-profit, AKC accredited dog training club that has been serving the Chicagoland area’s canine community since 1948. They offer group classes for both purebred and mixed-breed dogs, ranging from puppy to advanced competition levels.
The club utilizes positive motivational reinforcement training techniques and has experienced instructors who are also members and competitors themselves. Their goal is to help owners achieve a well-trained family pet, a therapy dog, or success in dog sports.
LTDTC hosts fun matches and AKC agility, obedience, rally trials, and tracking tests. They are also involved in community education through events like their “Ben’s Friends” therapy dog group and community demonstrations. The club fosters a strong community through social events such as an annual awards banquet, a picnic, and a holiday party.

Class descriptions can be found by clicking “Classes.” Registration for upcoming sessions is announced, and classes can fill quickly. A health certificate is required for the first class and must be emailed to ltdtc.registrar@gmail.com one week before the class begins. If a desired class is full, clients can email ltdtc.registrar@gmail.com to be added to a waiting list.
