M Pack Dog Training offers various “Pack Camp” board and train programs. These programs begin with a reevaluation of the dog’s behavior at their training facility to assess needs and determine an effective training approach. Dogs live safely and comfortably in appropriate-sized crates/kennels onsite in their climate-controlled, 3000 sq ft training facility with 24-hour surveillance. They receive quality training sessions focused on building trust, confidence, and essential skills.
Each week, families participate in a coaching lesson at the facility to learn effective communication and management techniques. At the end of the camp, a transition lesson is conducted at the owner’s home to help establish new house rules, boundaries, and a structured routine. The following month, graduates are invited to free Saturday morning group classes to continue developing confidence and leadership skills. All Pack Camps include training equipment (leashes, collars, M Pack placebed), regular training updates, a training folder, handouts, a logbook, weekly visits with coaching lessons, one month of free Pack Classes, access to their Facebook Support Page, and lifetime training support.
Specific Pack Camp programs include: Pack Puppy (3 weeks, ages 3-6 months, on-leash, reward-based for basic obedience); Pack Manners I – Basic Training (4 weeks, 7 months & Older, on-leash, teaches basic obedience commands like Sit, Stay, Down, Place, Come, crate, and social skills); Pack Manners II (4-6 weeks, 10 months & Older, on/off-leash option, intermediate level building on Manners I, focusing on impulse control, quicker responses, obedience with distractions, and optional e-collar off-leash obedience); and Pack Manners III – Advance (6 weeks, 2 years & Older, off-leash, for dogs completing Manners II, focusing on advanced off-leash obedience and social skills for specific tasks).
They also offer Behavior Modification, a systematic approach to changing a dog’s behavior and emotional responses by exploring their motivation and emotional needs. This service addresses issues such as aggression, reactive behaviors on walks, fear, separation anxiety, excessive barking, resource guarding, territorial-based behavior, excessive attention-seeking, and compulsive behaviors.
