I had to board George for a few days before his training began, and while it was hard at first, I am SO glad I chose Jana and Ray. I’m incredibly grateful I was referred to them–because you don’t just trust anyone with your dog, especially a 4-month-old puppy.

George went in as a puppy who didn’t even like to go on walks, and now we walk every single day. He LOVES it. I could honestly cry from happiness. He’s still young and full of energy, but seeing how happy he was when we left their beautiful acreage told me everything I needed to know about how well he was cared for. I saw it with my eyes.

My dad came with me for the training, and I really appreciated that they don’t just train your dog–they train you too (and we needed it!). They were so patient and thorough with us, and with George, golden retriever. We brought our 5-month-old silken to Maringo for the 2 week training program and we are so pleased with how much he has grown and matured in such a short time. Formal dog training is new territory for us, but Ray and Jana were patient and took the time to explain everything to us and make sure we felt comfortable with the commands to continue to work with our pup at home. I am SO impressed with Maringo Creek Farms’ training, time, dedication, service, etc. I genuinely could not say enough good things about the owners and staff. Me and my boyfriend sent our Aussie Shepherd to them for basic 4 week training and he came back so well behaved, attentive, and trained. The whole time he kept his lively and active personality!! You can tell the owners take such great time and care and pride in their work. They’re open, honest, persistent, and have great communication. Our dog, Bandit, returned with a bath and blown out fur–and even a new collar and leash for us to continue his training correctly. They spent the time to go over everything they taught him with each of us plus made every effort to make sure we felt comfortable going home and implementing his learning. Bandit felt so comfortable and confident with both of them and I’m just so thankful for Jana and Ray and could not recommend them enough. 10 stars if I could!!
