Testimonials
Our golden retriever was nine months old when we did Brittanie’s three week training session. He came back with the building blocks for heeling on walks with a loose leash, staying in place, and an overall general sense of calm. Brittanie sent us home with a training guide and she is also available for questions and concerns, and I have texted her frequently and continue to get awesome advice. A year later, i have found Her methods help us to create healthy boundaries for our dog that developed an even deeper relationship between our family and our dog. She has made me a better dog owner! I feel like we are so fortunate to have found her and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Our experience with Brittanie and her board and train program was a complete game changer for Cocoa our Pomsky puppy. She was naturally high energy and had trouble staying still and was a terror walking on a leash. After 3 weeks, Cocoa was able to obey commands – sit, stay, down, and place as well as leash training and no longer whining from her crate. As you can imagine, this completely changed our relationship with Cocoa and she became a much more enjoyable puppy in our household. Brittanie set her up for success and loved on her throughout the entire process.

Our 45-pound Bernedoodle, Ollie, was a highly undisciplined dog. He was jumping on people, barging out of his crate while we tried to put his collar on, chewing on things he shouldn’t, rarely settling down to rest, and dragging us around the neighborhood on walks. Brittanie @ McGee Dog Training to the rescue! We didn’t know what to expect but Ollie spent three-weeks with Brittanie and we got back a totally different dog. There were six major differences that changed our life with Ollie: He learned to settle on “place”, learned the “down” command, stopped jumping, mastered crate manners, learned to heel, and responded to recall via e-collar. Overall, this was a transformative experience for us, and we are so grateful for Brittanie who gave us new and improved Ollie 2.0.

About the Trainer
McGee Dog Training, led by Brittanie McGee, helps busy dog owners achieve board-and-train results without sending their dog away for weeks. She offers a hybrid virtual training program that includes daily video, audio, or text check-ins Monday through Friday, weekly one-hour Zoom calls, and unlimited text access for troubleshooting. Her program includes a 45-page e-book and a “4 Daily Tasks” framework to build structure, mental fulfillment, and a strong owner-dog relationship. She also offers an optional 2-in-person-lesson add-on and a 30-day Better Dog Challenge for foundational progress. Brittanie emphasizes permission-based, balanced training using tools like slip leashes, prong collars, and e-collars (not shock collars), and strongly advocates for crate training. She does not use harnesses, gentle leaders, or martingales, believing they are ineffective. Her training focuses on behavior modification for issues like leash pulling, jumping, reactivity, crate anxiety, and poor recall. She trains dogs of all ages and sizes, with most clients from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. She also sells her own branded hands-free leash and recommends specific training tools via Amazon affiliate links.
Brittanie has completed multiple advanced training programs including a 6-month mentorship with Phoenix K9 Training and certifications from Kane9, Pat Stuart, and Oregon Tails. She previously worked as an assistant trainer at Duke Canine. Her training philosophy centers on clarity, consistency, and daily fulfillment to create calm, reliable dogs and happier owners.
She offers in-person sessions primarily at Celebration Park in Allen, TX, or at her private 2-acre property in Lucas, TX. She also provides virtual sessions nationwide. Clients can book a free consultation to begin.
She offers dog boarding as part of her board-and-train program and sells training equipment including prong collars, e-collars, and her own hands-free leash.
She does not offer grooming, daycare, walking, or pet sitting as standalone services.
Accomplishments
